DESCRIPTION:2021 FCA Lacrosse Service Day\n																			\n							\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\nEach year we invite our club players\, coaches\, and families to participate in our Day of Service at First Fruit Farms in Freeland\, MD. We will be harvesting\, cleaning and serving in various capacities on the farm.  This harvest will help feed some of the largest food banks\, homeless shelters\, and soup kitchens in the Baltimore area.  Come out with your family and friends for a great day of service and fellowship! \nWhat: FCA MD Lacrosse “FALL SERVICE DAY” at First Fruit Farms \nWhen:http://https://youtu.be/TvvYU5whXi4 \nWhere: 20431 Middletown Road\, Freeland MD 21053. \nWho: All FCA Lacrosse players and any family members who want to join \n*Come for 30 minutes\, come for an hour\, or come for the whole time…….whatever fits your family weekend schedule! \nFrequently Asked Questions \n\nWhat should we wear?Dress for the weather as it’s supposed to be a beautifully sunny and cool 60 degrees Saturday morning.  Expect to get dirty and please no sandals or flip flops.\nWhat should we bring? Yourselves\, your family\, and a serving attitude!\nWhat if we can’t make the entire time of 8:30 am to 11:00 am? 100% totally fine!  Come for 15 minutes or come for the entire time.  We understand everyone has busy weekend schedules.\n\nPlease feel free to let us know if you have any questions\, concerns or need for clarification about this weekend. DESCRIPTION:Each year we invite our club players and coach’s to an action packed weekend as part of our FCA Lacrosse Retreat held at River Valley Ranch in Manchester\, MD. Pack everything\, but your lacrosse equipment as we take the weekend to Refresh\, Recharge\, and Renew! We are so excited to bring everyone together at RVR for an exciting time of fellowship and fun! Your son will have an awesome opportunity that weekend to engage with his fellow players\, coaches\, captains and college huddle leaders! We are also blessed to have a special retreat speaker with us to encourage and challenge our teams! \nACTIVITIES – Depending on the team\, players will have the opportunity to participate in paintball\, archery tag\, ropes courses\, climbing walls\, ninja warrior courses\, zip lines\, flag football and other outdoor activities. \nRVR ADDRESS – 4443 Grave Run Rd\, Manchester\, MD 21102. SUMMARY:Thumbs Up Game
DESCRIPTION:Each year in the fall\, FCA Lacrosse has the opportunity to help sponsor the annual “Thumbs Up” game between Ohio State and North Carolina in Baltimore\, Maryland.  This game is played to honor the memory of Michael R Breschi. Michael Breschi\, the son of UNC Head Lacrosse Coach Joe Breschi\, tragically lost his life in 2004\, while Breschi was the head coach of the Ohio State lacrosse team. Over the past several years\, Breschi and current OSU head coach Nick Myers have come together each fall to host a youth clinic in Baltimore followed by the special game\, highlighted at the beginning where both teams join together and give the “Thumbs Up”  to help keep Michaels memory alive. The Michael R. Breschi Scholarship is also awarded each fall to a member of the Ohio State Lacrosse team\, who “exemplifies the spirit of Michael.” \n \nThumbs UP Game Day \n  \n \nThumbs UP Special Moment Tradition
